HITC Gym is a free fitness programme for young people aged 12–16, designed to improve physical health, confidence and overall wellbeing in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
Sessions introduce participants to gym-based training, cardiovascular exercise and strength development under the guidance of experienced staff. Young people learn correct exercise techniques, improve fitness levels and develop healthy habits that can last a lifetime.
Alongside physical fitness, the programme encourages resilience, discipline, teamwork and self-confidence, helping every participant set personal goals and achieve them at their own pace.

Whether you’re completely new to the gym or already enjoy exercising, HITC Gym welcomes young people of all fitness levels and abilities.
Sessions are designed to be enjoyable, motivating and inclusive, with qualified staff providing guidance, encouragement and support throughout. Participants gain confidence, improve their wellbeing and enjoy exercising in a positive group environment

Secondary Age Youth Zone
Our Secondary Age Youth Zone provides a safe, welcoming and exciting space for young people aged 12–16 to relax, socialise and develop new skills after school.
Each session offers a wide range of activities including pool, table tennis, gaming, arts and crafts, music, sports, challenges and group activities. Young people also receive mentoring, wellbeing support and opportunities to build confidence, leadership and lasting friendships.
Secondary Age HAF
Our Secondary Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) programme gives young people aged 12–16 an action-packed school holiday experience with sports, trips, workshops and healthy meals provided every day.
Activities include football, basketball, boxing, gym sessions, music production, creative arts, cooking, quizzes, competitions and exciting trips including bowling, VR gaming and cinema visits. The programme is designed to keep young people active, engaged and having fun throughout the holidays.
