HAF Overview
Heston in the Community delivers exciting Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programmes for young people aged 12-16 during the Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays. Every programme includes exciting sports, creative activities, educational workshops, cooking sessions, trips, competitions and nutritious hot meals in a safe, welcoming environment where children can learn new skills, build confidence and make lasting friendships.
December Half Term HAF
Celebrate the festive season with our Christmas HAF programme, featuring festive sports, Christmas crafts, cooking activities, games, competitions, healthy meals and exciting seasonal surprises in a fun and welcoming environment.
Dates announced during the autumn term.
Easter Half Term HAF
Celebrate Easter through exciting games, sports, arts and crafts, competitions, cooking and community activities.
Dates announced in early spring.
Summer Half Term HAF
Our Summer HAF programme is our biggest holiday programme of the year, offering two weeks of exciting activities for young people aged 12-16.

Secondary Age Youth Zone
Our Secondary Age Youth Zone provides a safe, welcoming and exciting space for young people aged 12–16 to relax, socialise and develop new skills after school.
Each session offers a wide range of activities including pool, table tennis, gaming, arts and crafts, music, sports, challenges and group activities. Young people also receive mentoring, wellbeing support and opportunities to build confidence, leadership and lasting friendships.
